Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Chapter Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications within the Digital Banking ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in front-end technologies including React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with additional exposure to enterprise build, deployment, and DevOps tooling. This role requires collaboration across multiple engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance digital banking web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to integrate APIs and services.
- Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistent user experience across applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to front-end design decisions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and build automation processes using tools such as Jenkins.
- Work with version control and deployment tools including ClearCase and Rocket Aldon.
- Support build and release management activities using Maven and Gradle where applicable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and integration issues across environments.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
- 6-9 years of experience in web or front-end development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in developing enterprise-grade web applications.
- Good understanding of web application architecture and RESTful services integration.
- Experience working in HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Java, Spring, XML, SQL, and Unix Scripting.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with build and artifact tools like Artifactory, Maven, Gradle.
- Knowledge of release and deployment tools such as Rocket Aldon.
- Exposure to Control-M scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with legacy systems such as JSP.
- Experience in Digital Banking or Financial Services environments.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and automation pipelines.
