A new area within Accenture Hungary is Industry X, an advanced, digitally-enabled planning and investment approach for manufacturing and asset-intensive industries.

In your role within the Industry X team, you’ll help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves across industries. You’ll help them transform their product, manufacturing and product related service value chains.

What will be your responsibility:

  • Development of HV battery systems, battery modules, or battery cells based on lithium technology for the coming generations of electromobility
  • Detailing solutions of components and assemblies for battery systems in CAD and implementing continuous improvements in the projects as well as in the structural and process organization with your ideas
  • Creating requirement specifications considering standards, regulations, function, package, costs, weight, component requirements, and technical requirements management. Therefore, you would analyze and document user requirements, functional and non-functional specifications, and system interfaces. And develop and maintain traceability matrices to ensure full coverage of requirements
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to capture and articulate project requirements and objectives. Coordinating technical topics with OEM departments or 1st tier suppliers.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to requirements and propose mitigation strategies
  • Supporting our team in the areas of release, procurement, change, requirements, risk, problem, and committee management.
  • Assist in the creation of project plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with requirements and design specifications.
  • Coordinating your activities and those of your team with other departments such as testing, assurance, integration, and requirements management

Required skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering/Mechatronics/Physics or Chemistry
  • 0-3 years of experience in vehicle technology/manufacturing processes and a deep interest in battery development
  • Sound knowledge of at least one CAD software, such as CATIA or NX, and confident handling of MS Office
  • Previous experience in the field of 3D/2D design
  • Confident language knowledge in English, Hungarian, and preferably in German
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the development, testing, or production of lithium-ion batteries
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion or equivalent).
