We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Databricks Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable data platforms in Microsoft Azure. You will play a key role in shaping cloud infrastructure, enabling secure and reliable data solutions, and driving DevOps best practices across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support Databricks and data platform workloads
Build and maintain Azure resources including Resource Groups, VNets, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, and Azure Active Directory (AAD) integrations
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Apply DevOps best practices for automation, deployment, monitoring, and platform reliability
Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and security teams to support enterprise-grade data platforms
Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure and platform performance
Contribute to standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
Minimum 6 months of Databricks experience is expected
Hands-on expertise with:
Azure Resource Groups
Virtual Networks (VNets)
Azure Key Vault
Azure Storage Accounts
Azure Active Directory (AAD)
Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Experience operating and supporting Azure Databricks platforms
Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management
Ability to work independently and take ownership in a senior-level role
Nice to Have
CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure
Knowledge of data engineering or analytics platforms
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
