This senior delivery role will lead a complex Markets workstream covering the front-to-back trade lifecycle, risk and P&L systems, integrations and Murex where applicable. The successful candidate will bring strong capital markets knowledge, programme leadership and hands-on experience managing complex technology deployments within corporate or investment banking.

Key Responsibilities

Programme & Workstream Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex capital markets technology workstream across build, testing, deployment and hypercare.
  • Oversee configuration, development and integration activities, ensuring delivery against programme milestones and quality standards.
  • Manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, design decisions, resource constraints and delivery issues.
  • Provide clear programme governance and senior stakeholder reporting throughout the delivery lifecycle..

Testing & Readiness

  • Lead the Markets testing programme across SIT and UAT, including test readiness, execution, defect management and exit governance.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage, environment and data readiness, and timely business sign-off.
  • Assess deployment readiness and provide evidence-based recommendations ahead of key go-live decisions.

Cutover & Deployment

  • Own the cutover strategy and integrated deployment plan, including sequencing, dependencies, resourcing, critical paths, rollback planning and go/no-go criteria.

  • Provide senior war-room leadership during production deployment, managing real-time progress, issues and critical decisions.
  • Lead go/no-go and, where necessary, rollback recommendations based on agreed readiness and risk thresholds.

Hypercare & Transition

  • Lead post-go-live hypercare and stabilisation, establishing effective issue triage, escalation and resolution governance.
  • Monitor production stability and provide structured updates to senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Drive the transition from hypercare into BAU operations, ensuring appropriate acceptance criteria and knowledge transfer.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience delivering complex technology transformation programmes within corporate, investment or capital markets banking.
  • Demonstrated experience leading major programmes or workstreams through build, testing, cutover, production deployment and stabilisation.
  • Proven experience owning cutover strategy, dress rehearsals, go-live execution, war-room management and rollback planning.
  • Strong capital markets knowledge across the front-to-back trade lifecycle, risk and P&L systems and associated technology platforms.
  • Strong experience managing senior stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Finance, Technology and Operations.
  • Experience driving SIT/UAT governance and business sign-off within large transformation programmes.
  • Murex implementation experience is highly advantageous.
  • Experience within the Hong Kong or broader APAC banking environment is preferred.
