Our Tax practice is currently looking for consultants to join our dynamic and growing practice. We are looking for business & technology oriented professional tax consultants who will work on tax department issues related to finance transformation, chart of account sensitization, tax calculation automation, and various other business issues that impact tax. Focusing on tax process redesign and tax solution implementation, you will help clients align the tax function with business objectives. You will provide an integrated approach to process improvement that will help the tax department maximize its strategic value internally and externally
Key responsibilities include:

Gathering business and user requirements related to taxes
-
Performing functional designs to meet business requirements specific to taxes
-
Performing process & software gap analysis and develop related resolutions
-
Performing tax related configuration in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
-
Configuring tax software applications, including One Source-Sabrix and Vertex O Series, and prepare related documentation
-
Preparing and executing test scripts and test cases, and ensure all requirements are met
-
Troubleshooting and resolving issues
Basic Qualifications:
-
Minimum 4 years of experience in Indirect Tax within a corporate or public accounting firm environment

Minimum 1 years of experience implementing One Source-Sabrix or Vertex with ERP (SAP or Oracle
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in project or program management

Bachelor's degree
Preferred Skills:
-
Knowledge of US Federal, State and Local, FAS109, Sales & Use Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, IFRS

Advance degree, Masters or MBA

Systems proficiency, particularly with MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint)

Ability to quickly learn new software tools

Ability to utilize various AI tools and prompting

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
