WORK YOU’LL DO
As Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support for one or more applications under management of our team for our client. You will start by becoming familiar with applications, solutions and architectures, with the support of our technical teams, and gradually undertake the support activities with the objective of recovering incidents, minimize disruption and continuously improve the quality of the applications.
Responsibilities:
Review and understand incidents raised by business or operations teams
Perform investigation using processes and tools at your disposal, but also using your critical thinking and technical awareness
Coordinate with application teams for root cause analysis and escalation for defect resolution
Coordinate with infrastructure and other technical teams for investigation of non-application related issues
Communicate with business and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy of information and ongoing updates
Update and report on status of ongoing incidents according to priority
Qualifications
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
Experience as a developer, systems analyst or systems administrator
Experience with one or more of the following technologies/applications is desired:
Azure, Kubernetes, Microservices, Java, Spring boot, JavaScript
Databases (incl. NoSQL)
Integration architectures, web services, REST, SOAP
Salesforce
SAP
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana
Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English
