Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving problems efficiently to maintain system stability and performance. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure seamless operation and timely resolution of incidents, contributing to the overall health and reliability of critical applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve operational processes and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on issue resolution and system updates.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
- Skilled in monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to maintain system health.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
