Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. The role includes assisting in the definition of requirements and contributing to the design of applications that align with organizational processes. Throughout the day, there is a focus on ensuring that the solutions developed effectively support business objectives while maintaining alignment with application requirements. This position requires active engagement in problem-solving and continuous communication with team members to facilitate smooth project progress and delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of application designs that meet business needs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application functionality.
- Document processes and solutions to enhance team knowledge and project continuity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience in managing system landscapes, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP environments.
- Strong understanding of system performance tuning and monitoring techniques.
- Ability to perform system upgrades, patches, and transport management.
- Knowledge of database administration and backup strategies related to SAP systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
