Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide effective support to operational workflows. The engineer actively participates in refining application features and adapting configurations to optimize performance and usability within the business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in application design and functionality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Field Service Management.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software configuration techniques.
- Experience in customizing software solutions to meet diverse business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with integration of applications with other enterprise systems and data sources.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Field Service Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
