BMC Helix Engineer / Specialist
Do you know BMC Helix or Remedy inside out, whether that’s ITSM, CMDB & Discovery, or Operations Management? Or have you built deep expertise in one part of the platform and want to broaden from there?
We’re growing our BMC Helix capability in the Nordics and looking for engineers who want to work with large, complex IT environments while developing their expertise in modern IT operations, observability, automation and AI.
What you’ll work on
You’ll help clients build, improve and run BMC Helix solutions in complex enterprise environments, working directly with client teams. Depending on your experience and interests, your work could include:
- Operations & AIOps: event management, monitoring, alert correlation, anomaly detection and root cause analysis with BMC Helix Operations Management
- Platform engineering: upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting and performance optimisation of enterprise BMC Helix environments
- CMDB & Discovery: Discovery, Service Mapping, data quality and integrations that keep the CMDB useful and trustworthy
- ITSM: configuring and improving incident, problem, change, request and knowledge management
- Integrations & automation: connecting Helix with ServiceNow, cloud platforms, observability tools and other enterprise systems, and automating operational workflows
- Operational insight: dashboards, analytics and automation that improve reliability and make operations more efficient
What we’re looking for
We’d particularly like to hear from you if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations, ITSM, observability or enterprise platform engineering
- Hands-on BMC Helix or BMC Remedy experience in an enterprise environment
- Strong expertise in at least one BMC area, such as ITSM, Operations Management, AIOps, Discovery, CMDB or HelixGPT. You don’t need to know every module.
- A good understanding of APIs, integrations and how data flows between systems
- The confidence to solve technical problems independently while working closely with clients and colleagues
- Good working English
You don’t need to tick every box below. Depending on the work you take on, experience in any of these areas can be useful:
- Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Elastic, AppDynamics or other observability platforms
- HelixGPT, Generative AI or AI-enabled IT operations
- ServiceNow or other enterprise ITSM platforms
- Python, PowerShell, Shell or other automation and scripting
- Linux/Unix, Windows, cloud infrastructure or virtualisation
- Kubernetes, containers or cloud-native environments
- Telecommunications or other large-scale enterprise environments

Practicalities
The position is based in Stockholm, Malmö or Gothenburg in Sweden, or Helsinki in Finland, and English is our working language.
The role involves client work that requires security clearance, which we handle as part of the hiring and staffing processes. To be eligible, you need to have lived in Sweden or Finland, depending on the position location, for at least three years, and have the right to work in the relevant country.
