Management Consulting Senior Manager - Energy
Resources Industry Group, Finland, is seeking a high-performing Senior Manager with a strong strategy and consulting mindset to lead complex client engagements and drive value creation across the resources and energy ecosystem.
We advise senior leaders on strategic, functional, and transformational challenges, combining deep industry insight with rigorous problem solving. Our work helps clients navigate the transition toward future industry solutions in an increasingly complex and dynamic environment.
This role is suited for a driven strategy professional who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys shaping the big picture with executives, and is equally comfortable translating strategy into actionable outcomes.
The Role
As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of industry transformation, strategy, and client impact. You will lead engagements, advise executive teams, and contribute directly to the growth and positioning of our business.
What you will do
- Lead and shape strategic client engagements, bringing a strong point of view on industry, business models, and value creation
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on strategy, transformation, and performance topics
- Structure and solve complex problems; manage projects end-to-end and ensure high-quality delivery
- Design and facilitate executive-level workshops; synthesize insights into clear, compelling recommendations
- Identify new value creation opportunities for clients and help convert insight into follow-on work
- Contribute actively to proposal development, thought leadership, and pipeline building

What we are looking for
We believe you bring:
- 10+ years of professional experience, with a strong background in management consulting, strategy, or advisory roles
- Proven exposure to one or more of the following sectors: energy/utilities, chemicals, metals, mining or capital markets
- A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build trusted relationships and grow client accounts
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with confidence engaging senior executives
- A structured, analytical mindset and the ability to perform in high-pace, high-expectation environments
- Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the firm’s long-term growth
Location & Travel
The position is based in Helsinki, Finland. Some travel should be expected.
