Global Data & AI Counsel - Global Services Legal
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) business team within Accenture Technology in conducting assessments of new service and product offerings, and preparing those offerings for market
- Coordinate and collaborate with other teams within Global Services Legal and others across legal in relation to go to market services as well as supporting compliance with applicable Accenture policies
- Collaborate with colleagues across Legal and Quality & Risk to identify legal and regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Enable Accenture’s Sales & Delivery Legal team to efficiently handle day-to-day contracting, including developing contracting templates and guidance and providing SME support to deal teams
- Support Accenture’s Ventures & Acquisitions Legal team and business leadership in the evaluation of prospective acquisition targets sponsored by Data & AI business and development and implementation of post-merger integration strategy
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 yrs. relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, ideally advising on data and AI services
- Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies
- Experience with emerging technologies and offerings and related contract structures
- Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required for the offerings, including with respect to data protection and privacy
- Track record of developing trusted relationships with senior business leaders
- Experience shaping deals and evaluating innovative commercial models for new product and service offerings, ideally including data & AI services

Education and Qualifications
- Education: JD and admission in good standing with applicable bar association(s) (or their local equivalents)
