Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, configure, and maintain Global Master Batch Records (GMBRs) using Rockwell PharmaSuite MES in alignment with global templates and design standards.
  • Translate pharmaceutical manufacturing process requirements into compliant and efficient digital batch records.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, manufacturing teams, quality representatives, and MES functional leads to ensure accurate implementation of production processes.
  • Participate in design workshops, review sessions, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, reusability, and compliance of MBR designs across multiple sites and product families.
  • Analyze process maps, flow diagrams, and P&IDs to develop MES design logic and detailed documentation.
  • Identify process or design gaps and recommend improvements and standardization opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of best practices for future MBR development and MES design activities.
  • Act as a bridge between business requirements and MES system implementation to support operational efficiency and data integrity.
  • Ensure all designs comply with GMP, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements.
     

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Proven experience designing and configuring Master Batch Records (MBRs) within Rockwell PharmaSuite MES.
  • Experience with other MES platforms such as Werum PAS-X, Emerson Syncade, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including weigh & dispense, compounding, filling, and packaging operations.
  • Solid knowledge of GMP, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements.
  • Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, manufacturing workflows, and P&IDs and translate them into MES system configurations.
  • Experience supporting MES implementation, validation, testing, and deployment activities within regulated environments.
  • Previous involvement in global MES programs, template-based deployments, or multi-site implementations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISA-88 (S88) recipe management principles and PharmaSuite template creation.
  • Understanding of ERP, SCADA, automation systems, and integration concepts is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international project environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
