DATA CENTER PROJECTS: Contract Managers (Madrid o Zaragoza)

Since our founding in 2000, we have continuously grown. We are involved in engineering and consulting projects worldwide and currently have offices in Spain, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Mexico, and Brazil.
We are looking for two Senior Contracts Manager profiles (one with experience in Substations and the other in Data Center construction) for a client based in Madrid. The role will be performed remotely, with occasional travel to the project site/client’s office.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 General Responsibilities
Act as the client’s representative on data center projects and associated infrastructure works
Manage sourcing, procurement, and contract administration at project level
Coordinate supply chain activities across all project phases: planning, execution, close-out
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Report on contract status, risks, and issues
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools
Attend and support regular project and coordination meetings
Strategic Sourcing
Support supply chain planning and strategy development by category
Manage: supplier onboarding, capability assessment and prequalification
Support negotiation and execution of contracts and framework agreements
Prepare contractual documentation and master agreements
Collaborate with legal teams
Procurement Management
Provide procurement support to project delivery teams
Manage end-to-end RFP processes:
preparation of documentation
stakeholder coordination
RFI management
bid evaluation
Coordinate meetings with suppliers (kick-off, site visits, etc.)
Prepare award recommendations
Manage approvals and contract execution
Support negotiation processes (including lump sum contracts)
Contract Management
Participate in change management processes (change orders)
Prepare contractual documentation and amendments
Manage claims and contract close-out
Monitor contractual milestones
Ensure proper contract execution and compliance
Manage the full Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process
Support final account and contract closure activities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management or a related field
Languages: Spanish and Fluent English
Senior Contracts Manager: 15+ years of experience in Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quantity Surveying, or similar roles within the construction industry
Contracts Manager: 10+ years of experience in equivalent areas
Proven experience in:
- Large-scale construction programs and projects
- Sourcing, procurement, and contract management support
- International project environments (preferred)
- Data center projects (highly desirable)
Strong knowledge of international construction standards and practices
