We are looking for a Lead Salesforce Developer to join our team in an international and challenging environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical maturity in Salesforce development, a deep understanding of best practices, and the ability to lead technical solutions end-to-end. A good level of English is required, as you will work in international teams and projects.
This role requires residency in Portugal and legal authorization to work in Portugal, with availability to work in a hybrid model (2 days per week in the Lisbon office).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds and integrations.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices.
  • Develop high-quality code using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
  • Define and execute unit tests, analyze defects, and ensure high code quality and platform performance.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders in international project teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other Salesforce developers.

Detailed Responsibilities & Technical Scope

  • Own technical design decisions for Salesforce implementations, including data models, integrations, security, and automation.
  • Implement and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and external systems.
  • Ensure proper use of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Salesforce DX (SFDX).
  • Customize UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal user experience.
  • Review technical documentation, functional specifications, and test cases.
  • Support release management activities and post-deployment troubleshooting.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or similar.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing, defect analysis, and bug fixing.
  • Solid knowledge of Git, SFDX, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good level of English (B2 or higher), both written and spoken.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to guide and motivate development teams.
