We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong cybersecurity mindset to join our automotive platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for hardening the security architecture of advanced SoC-based vehicle systems-from TrustZone application development and HSM integration to securing in-vehicle communication channels.
Your work will directly protect critical vehicle functions against evolving cyber threats, making this a role where software craftsmanship meets real-world security impact.
Key Responsibilities
You will own the security software stack and communication security layers across the SoC platform:
• SoC Security Architecture: Design and implement TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) components, HSM provisioning workflows, and key management strategies.
• TrustZone Development: Build and maintain TrustZone applications and configure secure/non-secure world partitioning on ARM-based SoCs.
• Secure Boot: Implement and validate the full secure boot chain, ensuring integrity verification from first instruction to application launch.
• SecOC & CAN Security: Integrate Secure Onboard Communication (SecOC) for CAN-based vehicle networks, ensuring message authentication and freshness.
• Ethernet & Network Routing: Develop and configure CAN/Ethernet routing and gateway functions, ensuring secure and efficient data flow across network domains.
• Cybersecurity Integrations: Coordinate the integration of cybersecurity modules across the platform, working closely with system architects and validation teams.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an engineer who combines deep POSIX systems knowledge with a passion for automotive cybersecurity.
Core Requirements:
• POSIX Expertise: Strong command of POSIX internals-process management, IPC, threading, file systems, and system-level APIs.
• Embedded C/C++: Proficiency in C and C++ for systems-level and embedded software development.
• Cybersecurity in Automotive: Hands-on experience with automotive cybersecurity concepts such as Secure Boot, HSM, SecOC, or key provisioning.
• Vehicle Communication: Solid understanding of CAN bus protocols and in-vehicle networking.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
• Ethernet & Networking: Experience with automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, or DoIP.
• ASPICE: Familiarity with Automotive SPICE development processes.
• Standards Knowledge: Awareness of ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity Engineering) or UN R155 regulations.
Why Join Us?
Cybersecurity is no longer optional in automotive-it is a regulatory and safety imperative. In this role, you will be at the forefront of defining how next-generation vehicles protect themselves, their data, and their occupants against digital threats.
