About the Role

We’re seeking a Intermediate Technical Business Consultant to design, build, and integrate solutions around HxGN EAM, bridging business processes with robust, scalable technical implementations. You’ll own complex integrations, automation, data management, and UI/UX extensions—partnering closely with client stakeholders, architects, and functional consultants to deliver measurable value.

What You’ll Do

  • Solution Design & Delivery
    • Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans (estimations, risks, roadmaps).
    • Lead development of custom business logic, UI enhancements, and reusable components.
  • Integrations & APIs
    • Architect and implement integrations using REST/SOAP, OData, and BOD standards; enforce versioning, security, and monitoring.
    • Build automated tests and collections (e.g., Postman) and instrument APIs for observability.
  • Automation & Advanced Analytics
    • Develop Python automations and analytics jobs (including EAM Python Studio use cases), and contribute to data‑driven decisioning.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Own SQL work for validations and reporting; create/optimize views, stored procedures, and data quality checks.
    • Partner with reporting teams to deliver Cognos/SSRS (or similar) dashboards and operational reports.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Define CI/CD approaches for configurations, scripts, and integrations; contribute to performance tuning and cost‑aware architecture.
    • Provide guidance in hypercare, troubleshoot production issues, and uplift client teams through training and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Run technical workshops, explain trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders, and mentor junior team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2  years in technical consulting or software engineering, including 3+ years hands‑on with EAM/ERP or comparable enterprise platforms.
  • Proven track record delivering integrations, automations, and customizations in production environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Programming & Scripting
    • JavaScript for custom business logic and UI enhancements.
    • Python for automation and advanced analytics (especially in EAM Python Studio).
    • Familiarity with Java or C# for deeper integrations and extension work.
  • API & Integration Expertise
    • Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs for data exchange.
    • Proficient with Postman (collections, environments, automated tests).
    • Experience with XML data structures.
  • Data Management & SQL
    • Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for validations and reporting.
    • Working knowledge of stored procedures and views for data manipulation and performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enterprise Asset Management Concepts
    • Understanding of asset lifecycle, preventive maintenance, and work order processes.
    • Ability to align customizations and integrations with operational workflows and reliability objectives.
    • Experience working with integrations with SAP,  and Maximo.
  • Dataflow & Integration Tools
    • Proficiency in Apache NiFi for designing and troubleshooting data pipelines.
    • Experience with Dataflow Studio to manage integration flows and endpoints.
  • Real‑Time Data Processing
    • Configuring and monitoring real‑time flows and message routing.
    • Using tools like 360° Transaction View for end‑to‑end visibility and traceability.
  • Cloud & Containerization
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes for deployment and scaling of services.
    • Understanding of AWS/Azure endpoints, networking, and secure data transfer patterns.
  • ETL & Data Synchronization
    • Experience designing ETL processes for data integration and validation.
    • Ability to maintain multi‑system data consistency and reconciliation.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Skills in Cognos, SSRS, or similar BI platforms for advanced reporting and performance analytics.
