Accenture Strategy & Consulting – Global Network (Malaysia) is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as a Management Consulting Consultant – Demand & Supply Planning (DSP).

In this role, you will lead and deliver supply chain planning transformation initiatives, leveraging leading digital planning platforms such as o9, Kinaxis, OMP, Blue Yonder, RELEX, and other cloud-based planning solutions (non-exhaustive). You will work with global clients across Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Manufacturing, and other industries to enhance forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory, and strengthen end-to-end S&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.

This role is suited for professionals with strong functional expertise in demand and supply planning, combined with consulting or transformation delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical solution designs.

  • Configure and optimize demand and supply planning solutions across platforms such as o9, Kinaxis, OMP, Blue Yonder, RELEX, etc.

  • Drive end-to-end project phases including analysis, design, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Design and improve demand forecasting models, supply planning processes, and inventory optimization strategies.

  • Support and facilitate S&OP / IBP cycles by aligning cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations).

  • Analyze planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, bias, service level, inventory turns) and recommend improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to deliver transformation milestones within timelines and budget.

  • Mentor junior analysts and support capability development within the team.

  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one leading planning platform (o9, Kinaxis, OMP, Blue Yonder, RELEX, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, supply balancing, inventory management, and S&OP governance.

  • Experience in consulting, transformation projects, or large-scale system implementation is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage client interactions and deliver in a fast-paced, global consulting environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, or similar industries.

  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and integration with planning tools.

  • Experience working in global or multi-cultural environments.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to independently manage workstreams and guide junior team members.
