Priority - AI Workforce: UKG Pro Scheduling and Forecasting Consultant
Role Overview
The UKG Pro Scheduling and Forecasting Consultant is responsible for implementing and optimizing UKG Pro Workforce Management solutions, focusing on Forecasting and Scheduling modules.
This role ensures accurate labor demand predictions and efficient staff scheduling to meet service levels, compliance, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
• Conduct workshops to gather requirements for forecasting and scheduling.
• Configure UKG Pro WFM Forecasting models (drivers, calendars, seasonality) and Scheduling rules (coverage, shift patterns, compliance).
• Align forecasting outputs with scheduling constraints for optimal labor plans.
Data Integration & Validation
• Collaborate with integration teams to establish secure data flows (POS, traffic, call volumes).
• Validate historical data and maintain data quality for accurate forecasting and scheduling.
Testing & Deployment
• Develop and execute test plans (unit, SIT, UAT) for both modules.
• Support cutover and hypercare activities post go-live.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with HR, Operations, and IT teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.
• Deliver training and documentation for schedulers, planners, and administrators.
Continuous Improvement
• Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy (MAPE), schedule adherence, and labor cost efficiency.
• Recommend enhancements leveraging AI/ML for predictive accuracy and automated scheduling.
AI Enablement & Automation
• Use AI models for demand forecasting and optimization.
• Implement automated workflows for schedule generation, data validation, and compliance checks.
• 3–7 years of experience in Workforce Management solutions, with hands-on UKG Pro Forecasting and Scheduling configuration.
• Strong understanding of labor standards, compliance, and predictive scheduling.
• Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
