We are hiring experienced Senior Pega Developers to work on a cutting-edge, flagship banking application developed in-house that plays a pivotal role in managing the counterparty lifecycle within the client’s Lending Value Chain. Developed in an Agile (Scrum) environment, this application is central to the client’s Digital Ambition Strategy, driving the digital transformation of onboarding and due diligence processes.

YOUR MISSION
Learn the existing system architecture, codebase, tools, and development practices.
Validate existing technical documentation and flag any gaps or outdated content.
Proactively highlight blockers to knowledge transfer (e.g., missing info, unclear logic, inaccessible systems).
Maintain coding standards, version control practices, and agile routines to ensure smooth delivery.
Detect missing logic, undocumented features, or technical debt that could impact future development.
Share acquired knowledge with peers and help ramp up the rest of the team.
Actively participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to stay aligned.
Clarify requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure technical feasibility of user stories.
Implement the functionalities required to support new process and workflow for
counterparty management
Scope of the role
Enhance applications and infrastructures to align with business needs.
Define and review technical requirements for integration and performance.
Maintain applications according to service level agreements.
Track associated key performance indicators with cloud operations teams.
Manage capacity effectively to ensure optimal performance.

WHO YOU ARE
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Pega (additional low-code/no-code platform experience are welcomed e.g. webMethods, WSO2, Tibco, Mulesoft)
Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is a must; Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) is welcomed
Experience with Constellation-based development together with enterprise modular reuse pattern is highly desired
Experience with Kafka and REST API integrations.
Hands-on expertise with SOAP, REST, and PL/SQL
Proficient in data modeling, XML (XSD, XSLT, XQuery, XPath), and UML
Basic knowledge of BPM and process architecture
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Strong communication skills in English (B2+), German is a plus
