Cobol Mainframe Senior Analyst
Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day designing, coding, and improving software components that meet unique business requirements. Your work will involve collaborating with colleagues to ensure solutions are scalable and efficient, while adapting to evolving project needs. You will engage in continuous development activities that contribute to the overall success of the software systems and applications you support.
Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects in a timely manner.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and best coding practices.
- Experience with debugging and optimizing legacy systems to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Good communication skills to effectively work within a team and with stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
