Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience, as an architect or business consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers. Either a customer of BY/JDA/or other -similar solution or as a consultant implementing i2/BY/JDA/or other similar supply chain planning solution for customers preferred
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.
- Understanding of multiple i2/ BY/JDA solutions (Demand, SCP/ESP, Fulfill, S&OP, IO) and configuration to better facilitate client business processes.
- Demonstrable experience with i2/BY/JDA planning solution or similar supply chain planning solution.
- Experience in demand & supply planning for Manufacturing &/Or Retail Industry segment.
- Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as O9, Kinaxis, Oracle, SAP, or leading ERP may be considered.
- Has working experience of AI/ ML algorithms. Working experience of R, python packages
- Understands Time series forecasting.
- Understanding of data base, snowflake, azure, saas technical platform, devops operations
- Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical & machine learning algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required.
- Relevant industry certification from APICS will be a plus.
- Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels within customer's/BY organization.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, PD. PMG and consultants. Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, effectively and proactively.
- Passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.
- Manufacturing Domain is mandatory
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Sales & Operations Planning.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software components using modern programming frameworks.
- Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing software performance across complex systems.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working in multi-team environments to deliver cohesive solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in BlueYonder Sales & Operations Planning.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
