As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. Utilizing modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, the engineer continuously refines and improves software to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring high performance and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Time Tracking.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core HCM.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software components using modern frameworks.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and system interoperability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday US Time Tracking.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
