Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing application components that meet those needs. The role includes coding and testing different parts of the application to ensure functionality and quality. Additionally, the engineer dedicates time to maintaining existing software, implementing enhancements, and developing new features to improve overall performance and user experience. Collaboration with team members and adapting to evolving project demands are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that solutions align with client expectations and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
. Responsible for case triaging, issue reproduction and communicating with the Partners/BDMs.
. Responsible for raising issues to the Engineers after validation from the Product Area (PA) Leads / SMEs.
. Follow up on bug communications to ensure timely resolution.
. Ensuring adherence to the SLA Milestones.
. Route case drafts to the Translators for CJK (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) cases.
. Route drafts to Reviewer if the Agent falls under Peer Review.
. Raise cases, bugs, or product trends that need attention to the PA Leads.
Preferred Qualifications
. Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science
. Background in tech support or customer service Engineering, IT, or related field with Android applications.
. Minimum one year of Android App Development experience.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
. Ability to conduct application issue troubleshooting.
. application life cycle methodology and tools like Android Studio.
. Capable of analyzing the app/code to resolve the issue.
. Application testing to find out the issues.
. Good research and debugging skills.
. Analyzing and understanding the business
. Quick learner about new Android APIs and Libraries.
Skill Set
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java and Kotlin to develop Android apps and games
Frameworks and Tools: Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and development frameworks like Jetpack, Retrofit, or Dagger.
APIs: Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
Games: Past experience in Android games is mandatory - C++ or C#, Unity/Unreal experience, PC
Databases: Knowledge of SQLite and other database management systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Android Application Development.
- Rotational shift is required ( For 3 month : 6:00 PM - 4 AM , remaining 9 months : 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM in a year)
- This position is based at our Bengaluru/Gurgaon client office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
