Summary:
As a Ping Federation IAM Engineer, your typical day involves in providing L2 operational (break/fix) support for enterprise access management and federation services across the Ping Identity suite, ensuring high availability and timely resolution of user and
application authentication issues in a 24 7 support model.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Provide 24 7 keep-the-lights-on support aligned to defined incident priorities and incident management processes
- Resolve L2 incidents and service requests related to authentication, authorization, SSO, and federation for SAML and OIDC integrated applications
- Administer and operate Ping Identity components including PingFederate / PingOne (SSO), PingAccess, PingID, PingDirectory, PingDataSync, Ping Directory Delegated Admin, Ping Directory Proxy, and related services
- Perform routine operational tasks including platform maintenance, log monitoring, defect tracking, issue remediation, and health checks
- Support application onboarding activities, including onboarding validation, configuration checks, and operational readiness for newly federated applications
- Support operational tasks for OIDC self-service onboarding, Delegated User Admin (DUA) group management, and user credential or device management self-service issues
- Execute smoke testing and pre/post validation activities for platform upgrades, patches, and infrastructure changes
- Maintain and support pre-production environments (Development, Test, UAT) for validation and readiness
- Follow enterprise change management standards for configuration updates, releases, and planned changes
- Create and update operational documentation, configuration history, SOPs, and KBs, including documentation for L1 support teams
- Coordinate with Ping OEM support for product-related issues and assist with resolution tracking and communication

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ping Identity.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions and their integration within cloud environments.
- Hands-on operational experience with the Ping Identity platform (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID, PingDirectory, PingDataSync)
- Working knowledge of SAML and OIDC federation flows and application SSO
troubleshooting
- Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and routine platform health checks
- Familiarity with ITSM processes for incident, request, change, and problem management
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise federation and access management services

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Ping Identity.
- Preferred: Ping Identity certification relevant to access management and federation (e.g., PingFederate, PingAccess, or PingDirectory)
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
