Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues efficiently.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize business processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management.
- Strong knowledge of materials management processes and integration with other SAP modules.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within SAP MM environments.
- Ability to analyze system logs and identify root causes of application problems.
- Familiarity with SAP configuration and customization related to materials management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
