Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and meet specific application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational needs and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed are robust, scalable, and tailored to support business objectives efficiently. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving business demands are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices in application development to enhance team productivity and product quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Financial Accounting Core.
- Strong experience in application design and configuration within enterprise environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and maintainable application development.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Workday Financial Accounting Core.
- This position is based at our DDC 1 - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
