Key Responsibilities:
The Patient Safety Applications Coordinator will bring 4+ years of experience in applications support, with a strong background in managing day-to-day operations, client stakeholder relationships, and complex patient safety workflows. Prior experience as an administrator in patient safety applications, preferably with Riskonnect, is essential for success in this role. This role demands both technical proficiency and excellent communication skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality support and enhancements in a dynamic healthcare environment. The Patient Safety Applications Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with Accenture teams, software vendor teams, and client in the following role requirements.
Core Competencies:
Coordinate Issue resolution within the Midas Plus (including Statit & Datavision) and Riskonnect applications. Ensure critical issues are addressed promptly.
Work with vendors to test and implement new features in Patient Safety applications.
Generate reports within patient safety applications to meet the requirements of the Regulatory group, either on an ad hoc or periodic basis.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for event and risk reporting workflows and configurations.
Support the teams working on other applications, including Epic EHR and non-Epic teams.
Serve as a liaison with client stakeholders, ensuring alignment of system capabilities with business needs.
Lead and coordinate with offshore support teams, ensuring effective communication, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
Maintain system documentation, including workflows, build specifications, and testing protocols.
Monitor and support accurate ServiceNow/ITIL documentation.
Take on-call rotations for critical incidents, including some weekend on-call rotations.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data governance, and organizational security policies.
Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on ongoing work, potential risks, and resource needs.
Coach and mentor new joiners on the team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in applications support, with a strong background in managing day to day operations, client stakeholder relationships, and complex patient safety workflows.
- Prior experience as an administrator in patient safety applications, preferably with Riskonnect, is essential for success in this role.
- High School Diploma / GED
