Summary:
We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to support and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Windows Server operations. The role focuses on 24 7 CloudOps, operational stability, automation, and incident/change management in enterprise production environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
GCP Cloud Operations:
- Operate and support GCP IaaS services, primarily Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging
- Manage production and non-production GCP environments with strict SLA/SLO adherence
- Perform incident, change, problem, and RCA activities following ITIL processes
- Support VM lifecycle activities: provisioning, decommissioning, resizing, snapshots, and backups
- Troubleshoot GCP networking issues (subnets, routes, firewall rules, VPN / Interconnect)
Infrastructure as Code – Terraform:
- Provision and manage GCP infrastructure exclusively through Terraform (no manual console changes)
- Execute Terraform plans, applies, drift remediation, and troubleshooting
- Maintain and update Terraform modules, variables, and state files
- Support CI/CD pipelines for IaC deployments (Cloud Build / GitHub-based workflows)
Windows Server Operations:
- L2/L3 support for Windows Server (2019 / 2022) hosted on GCP
- Windows OS administration including:
o Patching and reboot coordination
o Active Directory domain integration
o User, service account, and group management
o RDP / IAP access troubleshooting
- OS-level hardening, antivirus agent health checks, and compliance validation
- Performance monitoring and capacity management for Windows workloads
Monitoring, Security & Compliance
- Configure and monitor alerts using Cloud Monitoring
- Handle audit and compliance requirements (access reviews, policy validation)
- Ensure adherence to security baselines and enterprise standards
- Participate in DR drills and high-availability validation activities
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with application teams, architects, and security teams
- Maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and KT documentation
- Participate in onboarding, KT sessions, and transition activities

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills:
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Operations / Managed Services
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform (IaC) in production environments
- Solid Windows Server administration skills (2019 / 2022)
- Experience with ITIL processes – Incident, Change, Problem Management
- Good understanding of cloud networking and IAM concepts
Good to have Skills:
- Exposure to GKE / container-based workloads
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell / Bash)
- Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools
- Experience in telecom or large-scale enterprise environments

Certifications (Preferred):
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Ops Engineer
- Terraform Associate
- Microsoft Windows Server / Azure Fundamentals (optional)

Additional Information:
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Shift: 24 7 rotational / on-call support (managed services)
