Job Summary:
The OTM Solution Lead is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and optimization of transportation management solutions using Oracle Transportation Management. The role combines functional expertise, technical oversight, and delivery leadership to ensure successful implementation aligned with business objectives.
The Solution Lead acts as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources, ensuring solution quality, timely delivery, and adoption of best practices across transportation and logistics processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Solution Leadership and Delivery
Lead end-to-end OTM solution delivery across implementation and enhancement projects.
Own solution scope, design decisions, and delivery outcomes.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, and integration specialists.
Ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.
Support project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
2. Solution Design and Configuration
Guide functional and technical design for OTM implementations.
Review and approve solution architecture and configuration approaches.
Oversee configuration of transportation planning, execution, freight settlement, and visibility modules.
Ensure scalable and maintainable solution design aligned with best practices.
3. Integration & Co-ordination
Oversee integrations between OTM and ERP, WMS, carrier systems, and external platforms.
Collaborate with integration teams to ensure data consistency and process flow.
Validate integration design, testing, and deployment readiness.
4. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
Facilitate requirement workshops, solution walkthroughs, and decision-making sessions.
Translate business needs into actionable functional and technical requirements.
Provide advisory support on transportation strategy and process improvements.
5. Governance, Quality & Best Practices
Ensure adherence to delivery standards, governance frameworks, and documentation practices.
Lead solution reviews, testing strategy alignment, and UAT support.
Monitor solution performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Middleware platforms (Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, etc.)
XML, JSON, and data mapping concepts
Experience integrating with ERP systems
OTM configuration
Business rules and rate management setup
