Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions tailored to specific requirements. This role includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery, ensuring that the solutions meet business goals. The position requires continuous evaluation of development standards, maintaining high-quality code, and optimizing software for scalability and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with organizational objectives is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering innovation and effective problem-solving within the team environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and implementation of cross domain SDV application service modules including vehicle state management feature delivery engine remote service gateway and in vehicle AI application hosting.
2. Define SDV application software architecture including microservice decomposition service mesh patterns API contract governance and lifecycle management design.
3. Drive AUTOSAR Adaptive application development including ara com service provider consumer design ara exec process lifecycle management and ara diag UDS application services.
4. Lead integration of SDV application software with Vehicle OS including SOAFEE and Eclipse SDV container deployment specification resource quota management and health supervision.
5. Architect OTA feature delivery platform including feature manifest management staged rollout control feature compatibility gating and activation safety checks.
6. Develop in vehicle AI inference application framework including model serving middleware NPU GPU runtime abstraction and inference pipeline management for SDV compute.
7. Lead vehicle to cloud application service integration including bidirectional event streaming vehicle digital twin synchronization and real time telemetry pipeline.
8. Conduct design reviews code reviews and mentor SDV application developers in service-oriented design patterns and AUTOSAR Adaptive practices.
9. Experience with ASPICE Level 2 and Level 3 software development processes and ISO SAE 21434 secure by design principles across the SDV application team.
10. Experience with SoC platforms from Qualcomm Renesas and NXP.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Must Have Advanced C plus plus proficiency with automotive service-oriented application development for AUTOSAR Adaptive or Linux platforms.
2. Must Have In depth AUTOSAR Adaptive expertise including ara com SOME IP DDS ara exec ara log manifest authoring and deployment configuration.
3. Must Have Experience architecting microservice based vehicle applications including service decomposition API versioning and lifecycle management.
4. Must Have Knowledge of Vehicle OS concepts be including SOAFEE Eclipse SDV AGL container orchestration pod man and OCI image management.
5. Must Have Experience with OTA aware application design including feature delivery pipeline staged rollout rollback safety and version compatibility.
6. Must Have Strong skills in test driven development including Google Test Mock pytest and CI integrated automated testing for SDV applications.
7. Good to Have Experience with automotive cybersecurity including secure coding per CERT C plus plus TLS mTLS for service communication and JWT certificate-based authentication.
8. Good to Have Experience within vehicle AI inference middleware including Tensor RT ONNX Runtime Open VINO or TF Lite on automotive SoCs.
9. Good to Have Knowledge of Eclipse Zenoh or DDS including Fast DDS and Cyclone DDS for latency sensitive SDV distributed application communication.
10. Good to Have Familiarity with cloud native vehicle application frameworks including Eclipse Kuksa Kuksa Val Eclipse Leda or COVESA data brokers.
11. Good to Have Exposure to functional safety aware SDV application design including QM versus ASIL designation and safety tagging in service manifests.
12. Good to Understand UNECE R156 OTA implications for application layer feature delivery in SDV architectures.

1. Minimum 6 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software and SDV Platform Development across domains.
2. Position open across delivery locations Pune.
3. BE BTech or ME MTech in Electronics Electrical Computer Science Information Technology or Embedded Systems Engineering. 15 years fulltime education required.
