Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role focuses on enhancing the model's ability to understand and generate contextually relevant responses by carefully adjusting its parameters and training data. The workday includes analyzing model outputs, experimenting with different fine-tuning techniques, and collaborating with team members to ensure the models meet the desired performance standards in various applications. Continuous evaluation and iteration are key aspects of the daily routine to maintain and improve model effectiveness.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fine-tuned models into production environments.
- Monitor model performance and implement improvements based on feedback and new data.
- Document methodologies and results to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in model development tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with natural language processing techniques and model fine-tuning strategies.
- Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and tools used for training language models.
- Ability to preprocess and curate domain-specific datasets for effective model adaptation.
- Familiarity with evaluation metrics to assess model accuracy and relevance.
- Skill in troubleshooting and optimizing model performance in diverse application scenarios.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
