Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with team members to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and provide effective support for business operations. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical development tasks with problem-solving activities to deliver high-quality, customized software products that enhance business efficiency and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the applications developed are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing software solutions to enhance performance and usability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP EWM.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Extended Warehouse Management modules to support complex warehouse processes.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management concepts and integration with other SAP modules.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP EWM applications.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Competence in analyzing business processes and translating them into technical specifications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP EWM.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
