DTC role-MM/SD consultant
Job Description
Experienced SAP S/4HANA D2C with a strong background in the retail fashion industry to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of SAP S/4HANA Sales Order Management modules.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP D2C modules, strong business order to cash processes knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end order management, billing, shipping, and accounts receivable operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP modules and integrated D2C processes.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
Configure and customize SAP modules, including pricing, order management, delivery processing, billing, rebate management and accounts receivable (FI-AR).
Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD, MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and CRM modules.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP D2C issues, working with technical teams as needed.
Lead testing efforts (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) for D2C processes.
Stay updated on SAP best practices, new functionalities, and industry trends.
Manage and mentor junior SAP consultants and analysts.
Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD (FI/CO) with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (preferably in retail/fashion).
Sales orders, contracts, scheduling agreements
Pricing procedures, rebates, and condition techniques
Delivery processing, shipping, and transportation
Billing (invoice, credit memo, debit memo)
Output determination (EDI, IDOCs, print forms)
Retail fashion industry experience is mandatory
Integration experience with non-SAP systems (e.g., POS, B2B platforms).
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex financial process challenges.
Excellent communication skills to liaise between finance teams, IT, and business stakeholders.
Project leadership experience in Agile or hybrid methodologies.
