How to optimize the contract

The Alliant 2 Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (Alliant 2 GWAC) is a competitive multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to be completed over a 10-year period. The contract is designed to provide worldwide information technology solutions to federal agencies by empowering them with existing and emerging technologies without complex acquisition processes.

Because it is an indefinite-delivery and quantity contract, the exact times and/or quantities of future deliveries are not known at the time of the Basic Contract award. It has a $75 billion contract ceiling for all awardees combined. Contractors promise to provide US Federal government agencies with integrated Information Technology ("IT") solutions (through a broad range of services) for evolving needs on a global basis. The scope includes any and all components of an IT solution, including all current and any new technologies that may emerge (requiring integration) during the life cycle of the contract and IT systems and services in support of National Security Systems.
