Reza Chapman is a managing director of cybersecurity for Accenture's health business. Reza is responsible for developing and driving a growth strategy that differentiates Accenture's security offerings for providers, health insurers and business associates.
Reza joined Accenture from EY, in 2016, where he led the national health cybersecurity practice. Prior to that, he oversaw the information security policies, standards and governance programs for PayPal. He also has served in cyber leadership roles at Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young and for several health and financial services clients.
As a seasoned executive, Reza brings over two decades of experience advising the information security leaders of Fortune Global 500 companies with a focus on healthcare and financial services industries. He was a key contributor to the establishment of a comprehensive security program for a major financial services organization and led the creation and rollout of information security policies and standards for a premier digital payments brand. Most recently, his focus has been devoted to the development and implementation of security solutions that are designed to increase client resilience and competitiveness amidst a changing threat landscape.
Reza published numerous papers and is quoted on healthcare security issues in Politico, Becker’s Hospital Review and HealthITSecurity.com.
Reza earned a B.A. in Management Information Systems with a focus on computer science and machine learning from the University of Arizona. He earned his Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certificate in 2007 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certificate in 2002.
He lives in the Phoenix area with his wife and two children and spends his free time running the numerous trails Arizona offers.
