Ed Meehan is Chief Operating Officer of Accenture Federal Services.
Meehan has served in various leadership roles at Accenture Federal Services. Most recently, he served as Safety and Citizen Services portfolio lead, where he focused on helping homeland security, law enforcement and first-response agencies achieve strategic and operational goals for critical public safety objectives, as well as supporting education and commerce missions. He also served as Civilian portfolio lead and Sales lead, responsible for more than $1 billion in sales. In these roles, Meehan helped drive market-leading growth while bringing new capabilities, innovative approaches, and commercial practices to federal clients to advance their missions, increase value, and achieve better outcomes.
Meehan joined Accenture in 1990, initially focusing on commercial transportation, travel and financial services industries. In 2002, he joined Accenture’s federal business.
Meehan serves on the board of The Women’s Center, a nonprofit counseling and resource center providing financial, career, legal and psychological support to women, men and families—regardless of their ability to pay. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University and lives in Virginia with his two daughters.
