Ed Meehan leads Accenture’s work in helping homeland security, law enforcement and first-response agencies achieve strategic and operational goals for critical public safety objectives, as well as supporting education and commerce missions. His diverse portfolio includes the US Departments of Homeland Security, State, Energy, Justice, Commerce and Education. Previously, Meehan was the senior managing director leading Accenture’s US Civilian Portfolio.

Meehan joined Accenture in 1990, initially focusing on commercial transportation, travel and financial services industries. In 2002, he joined Accenture’s federal business. Following a number of sales positions, he became managing director of sales for Accenture Federal Services, responsible for more than $1 billion in sales. Prior to his current role, he assumed the role of managing director for Accenture’s federal civilian portfolio in 2012.

Meehan serves on the board of The Women’s Center, a nonprofit counseling and resource center providing financial, career, legal and psychological support to women, men and families—regardless of their ability to pay. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University and lives in Virginia with his two daughters.
