This week, Ad Age’s Agency Report 2020 ranked Accenture Interactive the largest digital agency worldwide for the fifth consecutive year. While I celebrate this acknowledgement and the incredible growth and success of our Interactive family, I do so with the awareness that we’re navigating uncertain times. As we all take actions to protect ourselves and our loved ones, I am proud of our teams who continue to show up for each other and support our clients – virtually, of course – through this unprecedented challenge.
Right now, business-as-usual activity has undeniably given way to a need to completely rethink the way we work and live. It’s impossible to know exactly what is ahead, but I have never been more focused on the importance of orienting our business around purposeful innovation. As we grow, we must stay deeply rooted in our commitment to meaningful services and solutions that positively impact the world around us.
2019 was a year of incredible growth for Accenture Interactive. We grew organically and through acquisitions, extending the depth and breadth of the global services we offer our clients. We grew from our collaborations across Accenture, with cross-disciplinary teams that value and embrace the importance of experience. And we’ve grown because we’re producing the kind of work and results our clients need, delivering sustainable business growth through world-class experiences and innovation.
A huge thanks to our clients, who trust us as partners. I am proud of the work we’ve done over the last year and have seen an amazing groundswell of innovation and forward thinking across our teams that tells me we will do much more to help our clients – and the world – rebuild.
