View BioYoussef (Sef) Tuma leads Accenture Digital Video, a business unit in Accenture dedicated to helping clients grow profitably as technology disrupts and consumer expectations evolve. He has more than 21 years of experience in managing large innovative technology platforms and associated business strategies around video, advertising, and content, and has been on the forefront of a number of transformational initiatives. He was Accenture’s engagement executive and architect for Warner Bros' Digital End to End solution, which won a Technical Emmy, and led a large-scale project that helped a global content organization define and execute to its vision for becoming a high-performance media company. Recently, Sef also had a leading role in the technical delivery of the award-winning YouView connected TV platform in the UK, the Accenture executive overseeing the online launch of BT Sport, and the interim CTO for myBBC, the personalization platform supporting all of BBC’s online channels. Sef’s organization now supports multiple clients worldwide in helping drive new business models into market while enabling growth in their core business. Laura Chittick is the Product Lead for Video Marketing, Analytics and Monetization services with Accenture Digital Video. She has led strategy, planning and delivery for a number of transformational digital programs for major broadcasters, telcos and content companies, including the launch of new digital TV products and content services. In her current role, Laura works with clients globally to help drive profitability of video products. She has developed the product strategy and delivery methodology behind Accenture’s supporting software and consulting services, overseeing multiple projects which have driven audience engagement, incremental revenue and operational efficiencies through effective insights from the new consumer data available. Laura holds a master’s in electrical and electronic engineering from Bristol University.
John leads Accenture Digital Video’s consumer device innovation and quality of experience optimization activities. He works with global companies to position the home as a strategic hub for future business models while driving efficiencies in supporting legacy platforms. John has almost 20 years of experience in digital TV, working with clients globally on diverse projects including the launch of multi-room digital TV, cloud transformation of service delivery including network-PVR, and test automation powered continuous integration and delivery of video platform software. John has also guided the establishment of Accenture StormTest as the market leading video test automation platform. John is an electronic engineer and holds a master’s degree in technology management from the Smurfit Graduate School of Business at University College Dublin.
Gino is a senior digital video industry and technology expert who has led 10-plus digital video startups designed to help the world’s largest operators design their video technology and service architectures to capitalize on the exponentially growing IP video market opportunity. He is part of the Accenture Products and Platforms leadership team, overseeing Accenture Video Solution’s (AVS) product strategy, architecture and engineering. During the past five years, he has designed the Accenture Digital Video agile methodology around DevOps and micro services and helped position AVS as a market-leading software that today delivers video services to tens of millions of users in multiple countries worldwide. Mike works with clients on both U.S. coasts, as well as internationally. Mike focuses on corporate and growth strategy, product development and operational strategy at the intersection of business and technology. His client experiences include global Media & Entertainment conglomerates, Television Programmers & Broadcasters, Cable TV Providers / MSOs, Film Studios & Exhibitors, Digital Services / OTT start-ups, Consumer Electronics and Hi-Tech OEMs, Telecommunications & Wireless Providers, U.S. Consumer Electronics Retailers, and National Sports Leagues. Mike was the lead strategist on – a study commission by ABC. Mike holds an MBA majoring in Finance and Strategy and a MS-Management & Information Systems from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University.
Bikash is a leader in the Accenture Digital Video group. He has over a decade of experience advising Fortune 500 companies and emerging startups in navigating disruption and organizing for growth and success in the new digital media and entertainment ecosystem. Examples include driving video platform consolidation and subscriber growth strategy for a mid-market Pay TV provider, developing competitive strategies for streaming set top box companies and Pay TV providers, and identifying new operating models for traditional entertainment companies in the wake of digital disruption. Bikash is an active thought leader, driving Accenture’s “ Pulse of Media” since its inception and co-authoring other digital video points of view, most recently “Bringing TV to Life VI”. Bikash holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin.
