About Yusuf

Yusuf Tayob is Accenture’s market unit lead for the US Midwest and is responsible for clients, people, offices, community involvement, and financial performance across the Midwest. He has strategic responsibility for integrating Accenture’s services to tackle and solve our clients’ most complex problems. Leading more than 11,000 people in the Midwest—spanning Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, West Virginia and Wisconsin—Yusuf focuses on delivering continuous innovation to clients, attracting and retaining top talent, and strengthening Accenture’s impact in local communities. He is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and the North America Leadership Team.

Most recently, Yusuf ran the Salesforce Business Group at Accenture, leading a team of more than 25,000 Salesforce professionals who are recognized for leading complex transformational work, with unparalleled breadth and depth of technology, design, and consulting skills around the Salesforce platform. Driven by the power of customer data, Yusuf’s team worked with Salesforce to reimagine human experiences that spark growth and create customer loyalty for our private sector clients, and that drive positive societal impact for our public sector and government clients.

Yusuf previously led Accenture’s Northeast and Southeast business for Communications, Media, & Technology (CMT) industries with P&L responsibility across strategy, consulting, interactive, technology and operations. Earlier in his career, he led Accenture’s North America consulting business for CMT, was responsible for Accenture’s software-as-a-service practice, and was one of the founding partners of Accenture’s Salesforce.com business. Throughout his career, Yusuf has worked with over 100 companies in more than 20 countries, with extensive experience in digital transformation, including business strategy, operating model change, and large-scale technology implementation. Yusuf’s perspectives have been cited by Forbes, CRM Magazine and CSO Insights.

Yusuf joined Accenture in 2000, and became a partner in 2009. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors of the T. Howard Foundation, promoting diversity in media and entertainment, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
