Kathleen O’Reilly leads Accenture Strategy and is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. She oversees a multibillion-dollar business unit that serves clients across more than 40 industries in over 120 countries. Accenture Strategy works with CEOs and boards to address their most critical business challenges and build value by tapping new market opportunities, applying innovative technologies, executing large-scale restructuring and transformation, achieving growth through M&A, and embedding sustainability and responsible practices in every aspect of their business.
In addition to leading Accenture Strategy, Kathleen oversees the company’s private equity work, advising investment firms and PE-backed companies on ways to build value for their stakeholders. She also serves as Executive Sponsor for Accenture’s work with the World Economic Forum.
At Accenture since 1996, Kathleen previously served as Chief Operating and Strategy Officer for North America and led innovation in the region. She has also served as Senior Managing Director of the U.S. Northeast and led the Strategy practice for the Communications, Media and Technology industries globally. Prior to joining Accenture, Kathleen worked for A.T. Kearney. She began her career at Verizon.
Kathleen is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. She was a Carnegie Fellow at the Center for Science and International Affairs within Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Kathleen is passionate about helping clients around the globe improve their diverse and inclusive workforces to enhance profitability and performance.
She has been named one of Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Consultants, Working Mother of the Year by Working Mother magazine, and Female Executive of the Year by the Stevie Awards.
