Brian Crandall is a senior managing director and global leader within Accenture’s Private Equity business. He focuses on helping private equity firms leverage digital and technology to unlock new growth and improve profits at each stage of the investment life cycle.
Most recently, Brian was Senior Vice President at Platinum Equity, where as an operating partner he drove value creation across the flagship fund investments. He was responsible for driving cost and growth performance transformations, as well as standing up analytics and ESG capabilities at the portfolio level. Prior to that, Brian spent seven years at McKinsey & Company. As Vice President, Global Business Operations of QuantumBlack, Brian grew the business at a phenomenal pace, focused on scaling client relationships, expanding diverse and specialist hires within the firm, and developing the global operations and go-to-market model. Earlier in his career, Brian worked for three high-growth companies, all successfully exited via acquisition to large tech and services companies.
Brian attended Cornell University for his BS in Business, as well as The Wharton School for his MBA. Born in Tennessee and raised on the East Coast, he now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children. Brian loves running, skiing, and all things food and wine.
