Our Digital Experiences research and development group is focused on two areas:
Customer engagement—Increasing satisfaction and loyalty
We provide insights and services drawn from a combination of emerging technologies and our extensive industry expertise to better understand and shape customer behaviors and create seamless channel experiences.
Examples of emerging technologies the R&D Group is exploring include intent- or purpose-driven marketing, multichannel interactions and gamification.
The group also identifies opportunities to engage customers in new and dynamic ways, including augmented reality and gesture-based interfaces.
Additionally, we're examining how to create seamless feedback and interactions between retailers, manufacturers/supply chain and customers through emerging technologies, including 3D printing and virtual services.
Workforce engagement and support—Increasing collaboration and productivity
We're investigating opportunities to facilitate seamless employee interactions and create a more dynamic physical workplace through technologies including remote presence robotics and digital meeting experiences.
These efforts also involve extending the concept of a more dynamic workforce through "Liquid Workforce" and gamification, for example.
Researchers are incorporating intelligent digital processes (IDPs) to provide new kinds of augmentation to managers and employees, including applying cognitive, physical and collaborative augmentation.
