Sandy Mohonathan is the Human Resources Director for Accenture Africa, Middle East and Turkey – a position she assumed in assumed in 2013 after heading up HR for one of Accenture’s Diamond client accounts in the United States.
Mohonathan is passionate about developing leadership and human potential and is known for her professionalism, commitment to mentoring, and deep understanding of the impact of human talent on organisational growth and success. Her passion lies in identifying and growing leadership talent – and the impact leadership has in inspiring the next generation of leadership and growing profitable business utilizing individual leadership talent.
Mohonathan is an active member of the Institute of Personnel Management in South Africa. She has served as the President of the Body and the Chairperson of the Committee for two years before leaving for the United States. She is also an HR advisor to the World HRD Congress and the Department of Human Resources at the University of Johannesburg. In addition, she chaired the Executive’s Global Network (EGN) Human Resources Director Forum and coaches various EGN chairs. She has been recognised for her leadership by various international HR organisations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a higher diploma in HR from the Institute for People Management. She has also completed various courses in HR leadership and business alignment, and holds a master’s certificate in HR.
