Cameron Tandy leads Accenture’s Resources Client Service Group (CSG) in Africa. With more than 20 years’ consulting experience in South Africa and abroad, he has deep insight into the technology and digital impacts, opportunities and challenges facing resource sector businesses.
Tandy has worked extensively with companies in the energy, chemicals, mining and utilities sectors. He specialises in originating and guiding digital and large-scale technology programmes. He has led several global IT programmes, including 10 large-scale SAP implementations, in South Africa, the Netherlands, Mauritius, Botswana, Namibia, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and the USA.
He is also the global client account lead responsible for the sales and delivery of Accenture services at Sasol. These include strategy, management consulting, systems implementation services, digital services and multi-year IT outsourcing deals.
Companies Tandy has worked with include AngloGold Ashanti, Eskom, Anglo American, Debswana, CEB Mauritius, City of Cape Town, Nuon, KansaiPlascon and City Power.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and an master’s degree in business administration from Wits Business School.
