A Cloud Advisory Manager owns the cloud agenda and responsibility to drive key opportunities for select clients. You will carry conversation around all facets of the Cloud business and draw in other resources as appropriate. You will also have experience in selling and/or delivering Cloud programs. You will be providing the highest level of consultative support on enterprise-wide information cloud technology-based systems including the selection of cloud providers through your understanding of best practices with respect to the planning, design, implementation, and use of information technology and information management systems and processes on the Cloud. You will leverage Accenture cloud assets: myNAV, A4C, ACP, etc. You will set the direction and provide critical support in the strategic and tactical planning for the design and use of Cloud Technology while acting as the Client C-Suite trusted advisor for all Cloud-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Define cloud technology roadmaps and industry/functional solutions, advising clients on cloud-enabled enterprise transformation agendas within an industry context
Drive the creation of the value case, and exploit the innovation of the cloud to create new business value
Develop service portfolio requirements including market and service provider considerations
Recommend the target dispositions for the client’s landscape
Advise on the impact of cloud on the IT operating model
Lead independently small engagements or stream of work end-to-end across all delivery components: client satisfaction, value delivered, teams management, financials, etc.
Identify and nurture pull-through business opportunities, support business development efforts with client and Accenture teams until successful sale closure
Collaborate with clients, ecosystem partners, and within Accenture to align their business and technology priorities
Lead creation of thought leadership and assets that present action-oriented insights, knowledge, guidance, and recommendations related to the cloud journey
Interaction with senior management at a client and/or Accenture to steer recommendations and obtain buy-in on matters that may require an alternate approach
Key Skills:
Strong data-driven consulting with a focus on business and technology value architecting and realization
Ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures on assignments
Management of team efforts at a client or within Accenture
Ability to pull-through business opportunities
Experience and understanding of core cloud topics - planning, design, implementation, and use of information technology and information management systems and processes on the cloud
Experience in cloud advisory and/or implementation
Ability to operate cross-industry, with preferred experience in Financial Services, Telecommunication, Natural Resources, and/or Government
Pro-actively acquired business knowledge beyond a technical role or via business school i.e MBA
Qualifications
Minimum 5-8 years of work experience; at least 5 years in cloud advisory or transformation
Proven and relevant past consulting experience; alternatively global technology services firm, cloud firm, or seasoned industry position focused on cloud transformation (and demonstration of intrinsic consulting skills)
Cloud certifications: Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba, and/or Oracle
