Working for Accenture Consulting, you would join a group of financial services specialised consulting practitioners. As practitioners, our consultants focus on designing client solutions. Each consultant exploits their experience, talent and leadership to help clients analyse, plan and achieve their goals.

As a part of Accenture’s Financial Services consulting practice, you will be at the core of our clients engagements.  Often in concert with Accenture’s other specialised practices, you will deliver tangible outcomes.  Like everyone in our practice, you will measure your success by the lasting improvements our clients have achieved.

Individuals with previous consulting experience, either in management or technology and a broad understanding of the financial services industry, banking and insurance.


We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their broad industry and domain specialised knowledge through their understanding of strategies, trends & challenges, market dynamics, industry architectures and frameworks, and supplier landscape.

Our expectations are that:
  • Candidates should have gained their industry knowledge either through consulting engagements in financial services A demonstrable focus on tangible outcomes over conceptual knowledge is a must have.
  • Candidates are expected to be proficient in core consulting skills such as problem solving and decomposition, process design, business and financial analysis and design thinking. Design new business processes based on customer requirements, conduct user review sessions and run stakeholder agreement meetings
  • Candidates need to thrive in a team environment. As an Accenture consultant you will always work in teams. You are expected to have worked within or have led tasks as part of scrums combining client, technology partner and other specialised consulting resources.
  • As a consultant, candidates are expected to be self-starters, operate independently and often lead the delivery of their task on behalf of the client or Accenture. Typical candidates will have had roles such as designer, business analyst, architect, product owner, project manager, scrum master, test lead, change manager etc.
  • Candidates need well-developed analytical skills including constructing advanced quantitative models, ability to work with poorly defined problems, provide clarity to complex issues or situations and synthesise large amounts of information into salient points. We are seeking candidates with proven creative problem solving and business case skills.
  • Structured communication is crucial to the success of our consultants. The ability to tell a story and present ideas and logic clearly and accurately, both written and verbally is important. We are seeking candidates with a solid base of negotiation, consultation influencing skills, as well as a strategic mindset.
Candidates need to have demonstrated an ability to work with senior stakeholders, engage with their personal and their organisation’s global network, and facilitate workshops. the strategic direction and business objectives established by clients into holistic strategies and actions
  • 3+ years Financial Services experience required.
  • Excellent graduate degree results (or international equivalent) required. Post graduate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years consulting experience; Preferably within boutique, the big 4 or strategy consultancies.
