Managing Director – Resources and Health & Public Sector, Africa
Cameron Tandy leads Accenture’s Resources and Health & Public Sector businesses in Africa. With more than 20 years’ consulting experience in South Africa and abroad, he has deep insight into the technology and digital impacts, opportunities and challenges facing resource sector businesses.
Tandy has worked extensively with companies in the energy, chemicals, mining and utilities sectors. He specialises in originating and guiding digital and large-scale technology programmes. He has led several global IT programmes, including 10 large-scale SAP implementations, in South Africa, the Netherlands, Mauritius, Botswana, Namibia, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and the United States.
He is also the client account lead responsible for the sales and delivery of Accenture services at some of our large global clients. These include strategy, management consulting, systems implementation services, digital consulting and multi-year IT outsourcing deals.
He has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and a master’s degree in business administration from Wits Business School.
