On 7 October, Accenture and The Alan Turing Institute partnered to host the Innovation Symposium, featuring the latest in applied data science and artificial intelligence research. During this virtual event, interactive demonstrations were held with the researchers and our Accenture technical experts which provided clients with opportunities to understand the latest cutting-edge innovations and how they might be applied to their organisation.

The Innovation Symposium presented five new breakthrough projects of the latest cutting-edge academic research that could be brought through to commercial application in an organisation. This interactive online event was run by our executive facilitators from The Dock, Accenture’s global R&D and innovation centre.
Manual detection of anomalies in networks is complex and labour-intensive. We’ve applied AI technology that focuses on the nodes and their connections.
We were delighted that Lord David Puttnam, Chair of the House of Lords Select Committee on Democracy and Digital Technologies was our keynote speaker. We also had number of other speakers, including Professor Sir Adrian Smith FRS, Institute Director and Chief Executive of The Alan Turing Institute.
