Accenture helped Luxottica build a shared services model to support its finance and accounting, and indirect procurement functions.

Opportunity
Luxottica wanted to capture the efficiency and cost-saving benefits of a shared services business model. The company began its shared services journey with Accenture in 2009. It launched a global transformation program aimed at building a common “backbone” of models, processes and systems.

Results
Luxottica’s business units have responded well to the shared services organization as they receive support on all key activities and it helps them improve the company’s overall performance.
